Frequently Asked Questions.

Q. Your tours carry a minimum age limit of 14 - why is that?

A. A minimum age of 14 has been set in the interests of health and safety. Your visitors are taken on a walking route through busy, working production environments. Exceptions to this age limit cannot therefore be made.

Q. I have a group of more than 25 people. Can you accommodate us?

A. Numbers are limited so that visitors enjoy a quality experience of the plant. Our tour guides also need to ensure visitors' safety while on plant.

Q. Can I book a tour more than three months ahead?

A. From time to time, the plant is unable to host visitors. In order to avoid disappointment, we only open bookings up to three months in advance. For example, if you wish to book a tour for 1 June, bookings will open on 1 March.

Q. Can I buy food and drinks during the tour?

A. Although we do not have catering facilities available to plant tour visitors, people can purchase soft drinks from a vending machine. Please note, that no food or beverages may be taken on the plant tour.

Q. I am a wheelchair user. Are there facilities for me?

A. Yes. We welcome wheelchair users on our plant tours. We ask you to bring your own wheelchair and let us know whether you are able to use our tour minibus, or whether you need to use your own vehicle.
